About the Super Connector Search

Recently we asked Time Warner Cable customers to share how they've connected young people in their communities to the wonders of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). We selected a group of contest finalists, or “Super Connectors”, from Time Warner Cable markets across the country. Each finalist received a $5,000 grant for the non-profit STEM organization they support.

After the finalists were selected, we invited the public to vote for their favorite Super Connector on connectamillionminds.com. The finalist with the most votes, Anna Lozar of Carlsbad, CA, was named "People's Choice" winner. Anna will receive an additional $10,000 grant for the organization she supports, the Carlsbad Education Foundation.

In addition to the People’s Choice winner, an expert panel of judges selected a national contest winner, Cherri Rowe of Dallas, TX. Cherri will receive a $10,000 grant for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, a trip to Los Angeles to star in a Connect a Million Minds PSA and a year of Time Warner Cable service.
